The Camaro beat the Mustang in the handling with stock breaks. The Mustang had too much power on that straight axle too manage the curves. I hoped the Maros weight was the reason but it was a sveldt version at like 3830 lbs. Would like to see same race with a Sc on the Maro.

I dunno if he was implying that but doesn't a supercharger get "instantaneous" power/torque as opposed to a turbo which has to spool up to it's power peak? Maybe that's why many would have rather a turbo?

Im very impressed with Fastlanes top notch turbo set-up; hell it won the LSX-shootout with some very very impressive times. Produced some 10 second runs. I wish we would have seen that setup on the car.

i doubt a 7 liter engine is gonna take long to spool up at all. And generally speaking turbos are more efficient than superchargers anyways.

i think the lil 5.4 will hang with it just fine. Ford GT's have put down well over 1000hp without so much as lifting a valve cover. (intake manifold + turbos). Ford has left a lot of power on the table with the lil 5.4 but will most likely switch to the 5.0 in the future because it has even more power potential

I would have liked to have seen the results if Paul Tracey had been driving the GT500. He's a way better driver than Tanner Foust. Hell Paul Tracey had the Viper hanging with the ZR1 in one episode. If he'd been driving the ZR1 it would have destroyed the Viper!!

I smell a lil bias coming from Canada.....I think they're both great drivers and being that Tanner drives those style cars more often, I'd give him the nod in these tests. Tanner has GREAT car control to do the racing that he does.
