Watching Australian V8 Supercars on Speed (now part of Fox Sports???) just waiting for the Pedders Safety Car.

Half of me is super-excited to see a Pedders' branded safety/pace car....



the other half is sorely disappointed I clicked on that link just to find a pair of Nissans...

This. The stickers don't show the surfaces well at all. In fact one of the projector beams looks like it's angled inwards rather than straight.

All they do is show off the basic design layout of the front and rear fascias. Besides that, there isn't much to see.

The V8 Series picks the Safety Car. Nissan is entering the series so... Pedders did the Holdens.

My first impression, when I saw the pics of the C7 in the latest Car and Driver on the weekend, was it shares some styling touches with one of my favorite Italian GTs from 40 years ago, the Maserati Ghibli...

...what was nice about the cars of days gone by, like the design or not, is that they had a distinctive shape.....not like todays homogenous blends.....that make them look so much alike.
