My attention has been grabbed. If this does in fact add fuel efficiency then I'd do it for that alone but if it adds some torque too then I will almost certainly purchase this after we see some numbers and testimonials. But with all the talk about vararam don't forget about us cold air induction intake guys and or cai cai with ported tb and black ice.

My main concern at this point, and I'm still waiting on the cnc tb, is that after already having several bolt on's how much more gain am I actually going to see with any future bolt on? However at this point I care less about hp and more about tq particularly as it relates to mitigating the dead spot and help at launch. So if this product addresses that issue and adds some fuel efficiency then it will pay for itself and add some fun so I'm definatly intriged.

With the 25mm isolator, and the plenum spacer. Will it affect the seal on the tb. and a CAI. cai?

If installed properly it definitely shouldn't

If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Kindest Regards,
Steve

To put things into perspective bmorecam has all of the NA bolts available for the LLT at the moment (?) and his still achieved a noticeable gain

In regards to the fuel economy perspective with this product on the LLT, to be honest haven't really taken the time to quantify that. I'm certain this info will filter through eventually

[QUOTE=MACE_ENG;4812054] Ok there has been a fair amount of activity in this thread and via PM’s so want to try and clear things as much as possible. It’s very likely that I’ll have missed a question/statement, if so, please remind

I’ve also given the bolt thing some though and have now decided to have dedicated bolt packs for customers with specific insulators, to make life easier for everyone

For people who have our 25mm manifold (MI624), they’ll need to order MI624. For people who have a 3/8” they’ll need to order MI626

I’m hoping to get detailed assembly drawings (inc. bill of materials) for these packs over the next few days, needless to say they will come with all of the components needed for the job

Perfect, rather get the whole complete kit rather than running around to a few stores. I have the black ICe spacer(9.75MM I think) , so what bolt(s) kit and pm me a price to 10306. Thanks STeve

I believe the 3/8" kit is the kit for the Blackiceolator- #MI626.

Not to be a downer, But for some reason I am not digging on this. Don't get me wrong, I understand the technical aspect of it with increasing the plenum area and the heat soak problem. I just think someone could come up with a manifold that would fix all the problems not mask them.

Plus I need to see some numbers before I buy into something.

It is a logical question, however it more comes down to cost. To put things into perspective why would someone pay over one 1k to achieve a similar sort of result of a few spacers at a fraction of the cost?

We have a replacement manifold for the LY7 as shown in the link below

http://www.maceengineering.com.au/ep...Products/IM609

Needless to say it's not a popular item :(

Something like this would be very very expensive.

Yep y'all are right about cost, guess I didn't believe how much an intake manifold could cost today.
Still would like to see some numbers.
