If you put the bung on the drivers side exhaust , it'll be easier to route line inside car.

I do not know the configuration of the provided skid plate you have. My car is 1.5 inches lowered and I run a skid plate and I'm glad I do. I'll never run without it.. I would rather scrape that thing or even have it torn off before I damage a return line or the turbo itself. I can you send a picture of the return flange and fitting... I may have an alternate solution for you...

I'd love to see your skid plate and how it's setup. You wouldn't happen to have any pics of it would you? How much lower than the sub frame does your skid plate sit?

You guys are probably right though, I need to run one. It's tempting because nothing hangs lower than the sub frame on this kit. I've been lowered for 25,000 miles and never scraped anything but the black rubber piece under the front fascia. I'd more than likely be ok but probably not worth the risk. Like an unavoidable object in the road type of deal...

Yeah, R has a nice setup for his scavenger system. You should look into it and the one from AGP.

I'll dig up some more pictures, but we borrowed the skid plate from a ZL1 and traced it out on a piece of flat aluminum... Cut it out, manipulated it a scosch and used insert bolts... It fits like a glove, helps with ground effects and protects the turbos and the scavenge system... None of it is more than 1/4 inch below the subframe... And it tapers up to that amount, the forward section of it is well above the lowest portion of the frame member...

As for you return system, pictured here are the boss style blocks that bolt to the return port, with a -8 hose fitting welded on one end... The oil from both turbos runs to a collection can, then a turbowerks pump returns it to the engine... I grenades a turbo, literally, and a ball bearing got into the pump, ran for five to ten minutes that way as I made my way back to the pit area, with no damage whatsoever to the pump... Pulled the cover off the pump, removed the ball bearing, cleaned it all up and it's still pumping away to this day... The large diameter return lines and over sized sump ensure no oil backs up in the turbo...

Everything you see back to where the waste gate dumps enter the exhaust stream is covered by the skid plate... As I mentioned, I'll find a few pics of that and post them up...

Man that's a very cool scavenge setup! Is that homemade or did you buy it from somewhere?

Got to do a little more to it tonight. Re-clocked the passenger side turbo and got all the exhaust piping and turbos tightened up. All the oil feed lines are done. Everything has fit perfect so far. I'm going to try to go back up there in the morning. I'm ready to get this thing done!

Good day to have the car tore down though, we had snow today. It was 60 degrees 2 days ago on Christmas.. gotta love our weather.

It came with my original turbo kit, but would be easy to duplicate it... Let me do some checking around and see if it's available as individual pieces...

FYI Take that Breather off or pull the check valve out! Boost and breathers don't play well together. And what catch can are you running? Looking good on the install tho!

Getting closer, I'm probably spending a lot more time than I have to just making sure everything is perfect and nothing is going to be rubbing. I have to say, everything fit pretty good. I was missing the power steering hose and barb coupler but no big deal I just ran and got from the parts store $8.

One thing Im not sure about is putting the fitting in the back of the driver side valve cover. Its a threaded fitting and the hole is smooth. Its a pretty big size to try to tap in with the clearance that is there. The instructions don't really say. They just say put it in there lol. I'll have to ask fabberge how they did it or if they pulled the valve cover and tapped it. Other than that I should be able to finish up tomorrow and try to get the tune done.
