I was talking about a 95, S351. I was under the impression that was the only year a 351 was produced. I don't like the 99-04 style. =/

When they originally went on sale back in 08 their msrp was $69k then $74k in 09, $89k for 2010 and $91k for the 2012. Then you can option it out if you want and choose between Liberty trans, trans braked autos, larger superchargers, etc. Yes those are the tires the come with stock. I think the rears are 30" tall with a curb weight of 3,200lbs but its not street just legal like majority of the cars you see at the track now days. Its a good option for guys that already have a 8 second race car that they could sell and then buy a Cobra Jet especially since the 08's were so cheap. It has the title of being the fastest accelerating production car since it is a production car that has been in production for the past 5 years. Not all production cars are legal for street use in the USA and this is one of them. Last edited by BigDan; 04-07-2011 at 01:28 PM. |

Road and track got 117 out of their Boss so the times are very believable.

i find the 70's 80' 90's camaro's ugly, their firebird counterparts were better looking.
the late 70's and 80's mustangs were dam ugly, the sn95 were good looking only in cobra trim. i find the 1995 cobra R to be the best sn95 mustang. |

Christ on a cracker, all that horse power and it still won't be much faster then a base GT500. I think Ford should start looking at making an AWD version.

You guys are funny, you act like a set of drag radial's would somehow break the new owners bank. They have all sorts of tire options from mild to wild that can plant the power on its 20x10 forged Alcoa's. The problem isn't the car or having 800hp its the crappy Goodyears.
The first mod I bought for my GT500 was a set of rear drag radials and to be honest sticky drag radials would be my first mod if I owned a Cobalt SS, Camaro SS, or even a GT. Even a 200hp car could greatly benefit from drag radials and easily pick up a half a second at the track. I don't understand why everybody gets so hung up on the fact that a 500-800hp factory Ford Mustang cant hook up on its factory tires with the traction control off in the lower gears. |

I guess you don't drive it much in the rain on dr's then. I like the idea of a all around kick ass car more so than a fair weather only. Otherwise, I'd go to dr's myself. driving in the rain in my car is already dicey with 315/35's nitto invo's trying to keep traction with 700rwhp....hell, they aren't that great in the dry, but I might try to move to the nt05's when the invo's are bald. I think the nt05r's are going to be too damn soft for a daily.
