I'm a supercharged V8 that's closer to ZL1 than V8 (SS)..

You've got two engine cylinder count designations and one trim level, so do those of us with aftermarket FI cars get to vote ZL1 since we've got a blown V8?
I think It's based on what it came from the factory with, not what was done afterwards. If you have a SS that has been supercharged it still should go under the V8 manual or automatic catagories.

Why did I get sucked into this debate, its pretty simple, V6, V8 or V8 supercharged from factory, transmission option was just a second thought as I thought people would like to know what was preferred.

I'm trying to help you so vendors and others that actually make the aftermarket you're looking for can see what the numbers truly are. there are 2 V6 engines, 2 NA V8s and 1 FI V8. It would help to see how many LLT vs. LFX, along with the trans pairing, there are in case they have to choose one or the other.

LS3 and L99 already have their options, as does the LSA.. I just figured you'd want the correct level of detail. I don't care either way, my engine has mods.

You can always start your own pole instead of criticizing someone else's.

Well excuse me for bothering to ask a logic question and try to help get some accurate data for the purposes of getting better aftermarket options.

Nothing I said is wrong. If you don't understand it, then that's your issue.

Plus the only difference is the LLT vs LFX. which most parts are the same, really only intake and head changes. All Auto V8 normally aspirated are the same, and All Manual V8 are the same normally aspirated, so no need to confuse the issue, and some V8 owners do not know if they have a LS3 or a L99. they get confused sometimes, not all of us are rocket scientists
The basic difference between the L99 and LS3 motors is that each one was built for a specific type of transmission. The more powerful LS3 engine is paired with Camaro SS models that feature the manual transmission. Likewise, the L99 comes from the factory in automatic Camaro SS from the same year.

Lets get back on topic now..

He explained his reasoning for his pole but you wanted more. So start your own pole if you are not happy with the detail in this one. Is that too hard to do? It is YOU that does not understand this pole.

I'm done.. I was simply trying to provide constructive feedback on the breakout of options to help further the non-V8 aftermarket arena. It's not wanted, so I'm out.

You did nothing wrong, most people understand what you are looking for here. Like I told him if he wanted to see different information he can always start his own pole.
