I really like the Invo's. Tread and price, but I have heard that the sidewalls are a bit softer than most. What do you think?

I am surprised to hear so many people hate the GY tread pattern. I think it looks AWESOME!

I love the MPSS for track and everyday driving, I have about 14k on them and they look like they have another 10k in them. I never had a problem with them at Sebring last summer nor did the other 1LE that was there. I have only seen a few people that don't like them and maybe they are coming from track tires with really low tread life but everyone I've seen upgrading to MPSS is happy. There is a reason so many high performance cRs come with them now. I would highly recommend them, I had the perrelis on my old SS and would not re come d them over other tires.

I haven't done any events yet this year. Will be doing the GoodGuys show on May 17th. They do an Autox event at it so I will run the car in that and we have a club event at a drag strip this coming Saturday so I will see if they grip a little better than the p-zeros did. So far street driving I really like the feel and ride they have given. Even got caught in a pretty hard rainstorm coming back from a show last weekend and they had no problems in the water on the roads.

Two weeks after putting mine on I hit a pot hole and it put a hole in the sidewall. That hole may have eaten the p zero too though, it was nasty.

I'm also looking to do a 275/40/20 + 315/53/20 with a set of MRR 228 rims. I was looking at the Hankook Ventus RS-3, but now I think I might go with Continental ExtremeContact DW.
I found this Car & Driver article helpful... http://www.caranddriver.com/comparis...tact-dw-page-6

Friend has invo's because he has 22 rear and 20 front and needed a match set. But the invo's do not last long with spirited driving.
After the factory tires, I am heading to Hankook Version 2 |
