I'm not a fan of chrome. However, After the 5th gen design, ZL1 Design and 2013 tweaks, I'm willing to give them a pass until I see more.

Since this is a Refresh, not the next gen, this won't be too extreme. I'm worried because except for the Corvette and Camaro, all other Chevy cars look almost exactly alike. So I'm hoping they aren't trying to bring it into line with the rest of the family. As long as they keep the independent style alive and well, I'm sure it'll be a great design.

Now, Fbodfather, When's the NEXT tease!?!?!?!

I dont see why Chevy would put that ugly stuff on there. First the C7 Vette and now this?

Was Autozone running a clearance sale on that stuff?
Sort of reminds me of those cheap "chrome" door edge guards they sell at parts stores.

Hmmm whats interesting (as i sit and ponder the teaser pic) is that we dont see the hood line, so the question begs has the camaro moved from a trapped hood to a non-trapped hood?

2014 Camaro SS Refresh Teaser!

Here are the differences. I do like the ZL1 rendering.

I agree! The current design is simple and works very well. It's the case of less is better. Not to busy. All the lines flow very well. The new Chevy SS is the opposite vs the G8. It's way to busy and the lines do not flow what so ever. I seen it in person and its just plain terrible. They tried to hard. But, part of the problem is to much chrome. Chrome on the G8 just doesn't work. It's yet another example of constraint and less is better. The Commodore had different paint, less chrome and because of that it looks better. I hope they get it right, because man, I want this car so bad, my fingers are crossed. I wish they would just leave it alone.

Something off about it. If the grill is getting that much smaller, the rest of the design will have to compensate somehow i'd think.

Not trying to be too critical but if this rendering proves pretty accurate then I honestly am not a fan; makes the front look too ordinary, more like a sedan.

I agree. This would not appeal to me at all, very wimpy looking.
