Just finished reading through this thread and it's the exact nightmare I am wrapped up in right now. The video and all your investigation and descriptions could have been written out by me. To the T!!!
I've been ready to call Becky and make arrangements to get the car into Rodgers but now I'm waiting for the results from the washers before I move forward. My opinion is that it is in the CV. Stretched cage or something of that sort but defenitely in the CV.
Don't leave me hangin too long brother.

PQ I posted on the other thread too, mine is the M6 and it would tink once or twice when starting out under power or turning. Then got worse. The early 2010's did not have the Thrust Washers, that TSB fixed my noise. Watching your video and yours being automatic it's hard to determine if it is the same noise I had.

Wow! I cant believe those washers solved such a nasty sounding issue. Ill have to hit Maureen up for the parts tomorrow. I think I may still have a CV issue on the right side though. Seems to be a lot more play than in the left. Thanks for documenting the fix PQ. Great job.

Thank you for making this thread. My 2013 started making this noise over a year ago and it progressively got worse to the point anytime I would stop and go it was emitting the sound/noise. I ordered a new axle nut and washer with the item #'s you provided and problem solved. Thank you again for the videos and information.
