There are provisions to bolt the funnels(or whatever they are called) on the bumper plastics and wheel well liner of '14+ models, but honestly it's very easy to hook them up even without those on the plastic.

Great pictures cornerspeed92! I will be using them to route the hoses on my Quantum Brake Duct Kit! I have mounted the funnels and spindle adaptors. Your timing is perfect! Thanks; Rock

How did you mount the air intake and did you cut the inner fender to route the hose?

4 rivets, no fender well cutting required.

I had boiling issues over and over again, even with SRF and the zl1 duct kit. I did not want to deal with scat hose wear (plus it ended up wadded on a caliper before too) in a quantum set up....So I fabricated my own, $22 and 1.5 hours total (including the ACE hardware run). I used zip ties, a roll of duct tape and 3" aluminum flex line and a 4" to 3" reducer for the intake portion. Results...I can touch the zl1 calipers (with carbotech xp12's) after long runs (15 laps) on Laguna Seca. cosmetically, it is not show ready, but functionality is a 10.....

I'd love to see the basic layout, even if not pretty...

So you can see where I cut the plastic flap on behind the grill (i did this install without removing the front end) and I outed it the same way as the zl1 ducts run, held it place with zip ties only. the termination is 1" past the fender liner hole and I shaped the aluminum duct to an oval to match the shape of the hole. By running the duct past the hole, I was able to angle the flow directly at the rotor/caliper and since the tubing is spirally corrugated, you get a "vortex generated" airflow that sticks to the brake components......CHEAP EXCELLENCE!

The expanded aluminum dryer hose is an excellent idea sprayed with black heat paint. Going to buy the Quantum kit by the looks of things. BTW the front facia is pretty simple to take off.

I just installed the Quantum spindle piece and bought everything as separate. I could not disconnect the wiring harness from the bumper but was able to put two boxes under it fr plenty of clearance to work with. I cut the naca funnel so it would be more concealed and cut the fender liner where the cutaway is for the Z28 part so the 3" duct would fit.

Here are mine for 10-13 cars. I was not happy with the angle of the Quantum kit so I ended mine like the ZL1.
