On the Dyno today!

So I'm finally getting my tune! Car made a baseline of 354rwhp and 357rwtq on a L99 with headers, exhaust, and a intake. Tune should be done later tonight and I'll keep it updated!

Heres a video of the first dyno pull.

Update: lastnight we pulled 357rwhp and 361rwtq. It also had a flash before it went on the dyno so I probably won't see much more of an increase. Today we are doing a fresh cold run to see what we can get. I was told that the Dyno reads 10% lower.

Next comes the trans street tune then done!

Usually when you report a BASELINE it is before any mods like intake, headers and exhaust. Also, are you a L99 or LS3? Really helps to keep us all on the same page. Good luck with your future mods. You have been bit by the mod bug.

Yeah it was never ran on the dyno before that, so I don't have a real baseline. It's an L99

So with the dyno reading 10% lower you're saying that your car put down 392.7 rwhp and 397 rwtq? And thats with headers, cai and a tune? Thats a little to high to believe. Sorry but I beleive that your roughly 15 hp and tq off what the norm is with those mods. Maybe have tuner double his numbers. Didn't mean to burst your bubble. As long as your are happy thats all that matters. Numbers aren't a big deal. Gd luck with your car.

For comparison... I just got tuned yesterday and have good L99 baselines on a conservative dyno...

336rwhp 344tq - Catback only, no headers, tune or CAI.

347 - 350 added Headers and CAI, No Tune

366 - 379 added tune...

I was told the dyno reads 10% lower. Which would be around the 370s from 354hp and 357tq...I'm horrible at math so don't even ask me to do that.

If the dyno you are on reads 10% lower than other dynos then you must add 10 % to your numbers. So to your 357 rwhp you compensate for the 10% less by adding 35.7 (or 10%) which brings the total to 392.7 rwhp. No offense but I have no idea what computation you are making here.

Those numbers seem low for a for all of those mods. We have 100% the exact same items being done last week and should have dyno results Monday/Tues.

What headers are you going with? Cats? Resonators?

I know all Dynos are not the same but I would guess you should be in the 370rwhp range.
