LG Motorsports full 2010 Camaro SS exhaust dyno results

Hey guys,

Had a group of Camaro guys drop by the shop the other week to take a tour and a couple guys dropped off for some modifications. The first 2010 Camaro we started was an automatic car and just had a K&N cold air intake on before we started. He wanted to pick up some power while making the car sound more like his first generation car. David decided on the LG Super Pro Exhaust and full 3" muffler system from engine to tip.

Dyno sheet is shown below for the before and after showing a gain of 38 hp at the rear tires and 57 tq!!

Thank you David for letting LG Motorsports help you on your 2010 Camaro project!

Was that 38 rwhp gain with a tune?

I definately like the sound of the LG full exhaust. You need to post more video of the Camaros doing drive bys and possible in cabin video as well.

If it gets headers, it gets a tune

It does change how the car drives that is for sure. The torque increase is huge on the street!

Why are the L99's consistently making sub 400HP/TQ even with a full exhaust? Could it be location specific and dynos done down south or in hot weather gets lower numbers?

Sure glad I got my LS3 and live in the Great White North.

Nice gains, great job. I"ll be in the market for a new exhaust in the spring. Unfortunately not too many Camaro's around here yet - so I don't have anything to "listen" too, and I don't think that the youtube videos show justice to any system. Thankx for sharing!!

First off you have to remember that the L99 starts with 400....not 426 like the LS3. Then you have to factor in the mombo 4L80 Auto trans which robs a bit more power than a manual trans.

Stock the LS3 typically dyno in the 360-370 rwhp range and the L99 dyno in the 320-330 range. Add basically 40 with a full exhaust and tune and you can see the LS3 is roughly 410 range and the L99 is 370 range.

Still can't wait to hear the LG full exhaust in person. Now that I ended up with KOOKS and Magnaflow I'm curious to hear the difference.

LG was top of my list but I got a pkg deal on a set of used KOOKS and the 3" Magnaflow exhaust. It was too good to pass up.

I got exactly 38 rwhp increase with my setup as well. Pre-install was 373 rwhp and Post-install was 411 rwhp.

I have the complete LG exhaust system from headers to exhaust. I can tell you they sound and look amazing! One minor issue with one of the headers hitting the frame rail. LG sent me a replacement. Problem solved. You will also probably have to go with an aftermarket tunnel brace. I ended up going with the Elite Engineering brace.
