Rearview mirror vibration on highway - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I am not 100% sure, but I believe that my car has a vibration that starts around 75-80. I can hardly look out of the rearview mirror at those speeds because it is vibrating so much (the side view mirrors are crystal clear). I don't seem to feel it in the steering wheel, but seems to be more in the seat of my pants so I am thinking it is a rear tire. How smooth are other peoples rearview mirrors on the highway??

Depends on the road for me. Most of the time it is fine but sometimes it vibrates pretty good. During acceleration I cant see out the mirror though, surprised it doesnt fall off.

Mine vibrates when then the 10" sub starts to work.

There is a small torx bolt (I think it's a 21) under the mirror housing attached to the windshield. Tightening it may help.
