road trip to look at fall colors next weekend-

-anyone near by up for a trip ???

here is a nice picture of a 6x6 elk in the park--watched some stupid lady get within 4 inches of being GORED by this bull as she stared it down and it charged and took a rip at her--the wife and another guy told her she was sucidal and here answer was --I've been around animals all my life as she stormed off mad as heck--WHAT A IDIOT

I would love to go to Yellowstone oneday....

we went memorial weekend this year and it was awesome

That's a great picture! We do a lot of trips through Glacier Park, but I don't get to Yellowstone as often as I'd like to. It would be cool to get folks who are close to Yellowstone together for a weekend. I always like to come in from the south end and stay in Jackson one night, then stay in West Yellowstone the next night, but I'd be up for anything. The Montana folks don't have a huge following on C5, but I bet we could get something put together with other members that are close to Yellowstone.

I'm way down in Orlando, FL but my wife and I went to Jackson and Yellowstone for our honeymoon back in July 2008. My wife used to show quarter horses when she was younger and it was like going back in time for her. What an amazing place; can't wait to get a place there someday...maybe when I retire. You're pictures really bring it all back!
