Xbox 360 help

Im getting a 360 for xmas so im wondering if there is a way to wirelessly connect it to internet w/o stupid $100 adapter thing?

Yeah. Only drawback is that you'll have to have an ethernet line running from somewhere.

ethernet all the way. with those wireless things they mess up because whenever you use the microwave or get a phone call on the 802.11g network it interferes with your signal so basically you get booted from a game. it sucks. i would know... worst hundred bucks i ever spent.

well another option is a ethernet bridge its a box that plugs into the ethernet port of the 360 and the wireless router will detect it. Linksys made one and Pelican who makes a lot of 3rd party devices for the 360 and other consoles makes one. both can be found between 40-50 bucks in stores. you can also try the 'Bay. I have the one made for the 360 by Micro$oft but i got it on ebay with a 200 MS points card (good for non free downloads) for like 60 bucks shipped priority . I was NOT about to pay 89-99 for the darn thing but it DOES work good, but it helps that my router is only like 20-30 feet from the 360 .
