Higher durometer bushings, after market trailing arms and toe links will help you control your power better, reducing or eliminating wheel hop and undesirable suspension flex or movement. The adjustable shock valving in most coilovers helps in the same regard, as does the somewhat stiffer spring rates typically present in modified suspensions. The feeling of control is something that has to be experienced, not described.

The right suspension will make the use of the power you have more efficient. You just want to find the right balance of what you want to do with the car and your budget. Some if not most go over the top for their needs in suspension items. just because the car has super car handling doesn't equate to the driver having the same.

The right suspension modifications will help you put down the power you make more efficiently.
The foundational suspension modification in a 5th Gen Camaro is found in the sub-frame bushes. Adding trailing arms and or toe link does NOT address the foundational instability of the OE sub-frame bushes. The twist in the sub-frame remains as does the undesirable rear-end-step-out and wheel hop. Only subframe inserts directly address the root cause -- a twisting sub-frame within the rubber and space of the OE sub-frame bushes. You can see the voids and how the inserts will alter them in these two pictures. ![]() ![]() The inserts minimise installation time and cost while delivering maximum benefits. Every suspension company has some type of full sub-frame bush replacement or brace because it is the critical component and building block for all other suspension modifications. Pedders has the EP1201 and EP1201HD full replacement bushes plus the EP1200 inserts. Address the weakest link in your suspension first because all other modifications will perform better once you have installed sub-frame insert or full replacement sub-frame bushes. |

Don't forget about brakes.
Suspension mods themselves won't make power, but it can make that power easier to handle. |
