Wheels: Polished vs. Painted

sorry guys, 1st post, and boy am i glad i found this forum.

looking for a thread that talks about the painted vs. polished rims. I'm in the process of ordering a 2011 Imperial Blue/Silver Stripe 2LT/RS and can't determine what my options are w/regards to painted sterling silver, midnight silver and polished as well as the pros/cons. currently deployed overseas so can't reach out and touch one either which sucks. any assistance/pics/opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Have to go polished in those choices honestly. There are better aftermarket versions but you have to pay to play. The polished are definitely worth the extra cash in my opinion. I have IBM with the polished and love em.

I went painted because my car is a daily driver, and painted is much easier to clean and keep looking good. Polished aluminum looks great when it's clean and polished, but I HATE polishing aluminum...

Ditto - Plus I'm going to probably go with aftermarket wheels when I replace the tires. I want 11" wide rims on the rear so I can use 315 mm tires - that's the way a Camaro should look.

The polished wheels look great when they are clean, but with a little bit of dust, you really can't tell the difference.
