Question RPI Designs

Good Afternoon,

Has anybody in the forums purchased parts from RPI designs? I'm looking at the site and the parts and products are cheaper than I've seen them on other sites, but I'm wary of quality issues.

I bought my painted Engine cover from them. It looks good. But there is some dust in the paint I noticed after closer examination. I was going to tell them but it took so long to receive it initially I didn't bother. The car show season was coming up and I couldn't wait any longer. The prices are decent, but if you order custom painted parts it takes a little over a month to receive them.

I got a license plate frame and caliper covers(90-99% satisfied on quality, it was fine), took 1-2months to actually get them, and he provides no updates unless you inquire about what's going on with your stuff.

Got my vinyl gills from them. Seems to be good quality and they shipped them quickly.

Unhappy

I ordered painted bowties from RPI. Took 29 days from order to delivery. I thought the paint was excellent. My one complaint aside from the lengthy delivery time is it looks like a small razor blade cut in the chrome trim on my front bowtie. It is on the side facing the pavement, you can not see it standing up looking down, but I am picky so it bothers me. For $100.00 they should be flawless.:(

I ordered some gloss black covers for the brake reservoir, fuse box, etc. It did take a long time to receive the order, but they always responded to my inquiries. Didn't have any quality issues. I think part of the problem is that items are custom painted when ordered.

Great, thanks for the advice y'all I was a little worried while looking at their site and wanted to be sure before I purchased anything.
