Cool Concept pics. for purchase!
I was looking through my newest 'Road & Track' issue and saw this.
http://pictopia.com/perl/gal?gallery...age=thumbnails A little pricey. Plus, I like the one's on Chevrolet's site better.

$20 for a 10 inch photo...How about I save it to my computer and print it up on my .75cent photo paper... Great photos, but yeah...too expensive. I'd rather print it on my printer w/ the highest resolution, or take the photo on a memory stick to kinkos and have them print it out on photo paper for me. I've done it at the local grocery store (HEB) and it only cost me $20 for a full size poster on picture paper. They did it from a 5x7 photo. It was a little blurry looking at it up close, but from 10 feet back, looked gorgeous. In fact, the picture I had blown up was the one of my Chevy 1500 w/ the 4 of us sitting on the back (posted it under Veh's I've owned).
I just might do the same w/ a pic of my SS and see what they say...get it blown up poster size. I wonder how much that would cost nowadays. |

I went to 'Kinko's' (or any office store should be able to do it), with a 4X6 and had them made into posters, dry-mounted, with a thin black frame. It was a few years back, but if I remember correctly, I think it cost me around $60? It turned out quite nicely. As for the pics. from R&T, yep, overpriced and not as nice as those from Chevy's site. |
