There's multiple lines at the plant but I believe they share a paint system. This is the same reason that they will not be offering white til june/july as a different white is already being used on the malibu (I think, or maybe it's the impala as well) until then.

Question for fbodfather, is the plan to have CGM ready by March 16th? Or will there be a constraint on it in the beginning?

Silver Ice is an Impala color, as is Victory Red, and some of the others. They have no problem shooting a Camaro or two through the paint shop for these colors.

The pre-pre-pre production, "IVER" cars were hand painted...but it was a terrible thing. Many of the cars you see running the auto show circuits in fact came from the plant. They've been all "auto-showed up" to look pretty.

Afaik, the only constraint on colors is white. Cyber Gray should be up and ready for production, no problem.
