HELP!!! I've had my 2010 camaro for over a year. This morning the weather is colder than usual and my car started making a screeching noise. It is when the car accelerates and decelerates, but it does NOT happen when I hit the brakes...It sounds like it is coming from the wheels, like a metal on metal sound. I do not drive on gravel so it cannot be rocks.. Please help anyone..Thanks

Can you tell which wheel it's coming from? Does the car pull to one side or the other when you stop. Did you hit a curb or anything with the side of the tire. It's really hard to troubleshoot a metal on metal sound without being able to hear it. Take it to the dealership or a local guy you trust. Could be anything from a caliper sticking to a wheel bearing shot. Sorry I can't be of more help.
