As much as I'd like to think Chevy thinks that highly of our little show...I don't think we're the proper venue for a full-on reveal like that....

I can assure you Chevrolet thinks highly of your "little show".

But GM, that I know of, has not even used the HUGE shows like Bloomington, Mid America or Carlisle to announce a new model.

It's about the press coverage. How much press is there to spread the word is a giant multiplier over the number of enthusiasts present at an event.

But it's a good thought, even if the car you are hoping for doesn't exist.

So, you're saying we should just invite every member of the auto-media and you'll bring it?

I'd feel especially crappy for having missed that announcement in person. That was a cool thought though!

Buy an SS, slap a maggie (or something better) on it, put the Pfadt sways and springs on it.. call it a day. Save a shit ton of money.

People are so caught up in a name...

Suit yourself. You'll be missing a warranty, better tuned suspension, upgraded brakes, tires, driveline, etc. I guess what you propose is totally better than Z28

No matter how good a car is from the factory, it can always be made better. Im sure there will be some dissapointments with the Z. The one thing we can say for sure now though, we know it wont have a boosted LSX454! LMAO!!!!
