Nose protection

I am somewhat concerned about road chips when going on a long haul Do you have a bra or other type front end protection against chips. Any feedback greatly appreciated.

if it were me I would invest in a clear bra from day one. i have one and would not own this car without it. my only regrets is that it wasnt installed prior to driving it off the lot.

also when i got mine i only had the fascia done, i think it looks better than having half of your hood and half of your fenders covered. the main part of your car that will get damaged will be the fascia and possibly the mirrors

Get a clear bra. Many members on here have had this done. Also do a search and i think you will find all the info you need to help you make your decision.

I have posted this message about 4 times. I have the 3-M on the entire frontend. I have 8000 miles and my car is 15 months old and I don't have 1 single chip on the frontend!!! ABSOLUTLY the best money that I have spent on my car. The frontend looks like the day I bought it. You can't tell it is on there. I have to tell people it is there and you have to feel carefully on the edges to feel it. DO IT!!!!

just don't try to install it yourself like I did It's a lot more complicated than applying a set of vinyl stripes!

I 2nd that. Pain in the butt and I ended up throwing it away because it did not look good at all. Luckily, it was only a cheapy ebay film instead of the expensive 3M stuff. If you want to try it yourself, that would be the way to go. Inexpensive learning experience to figure out to get it done professionally next time.

You absolutly need to have it done professionally. I do all my work but I knew on this mod it needed to be done by a professional. Again, with the 3-M you can't tell it is on there.

My car will be delivered to me this week. It comes home for a complete exterior detail then right to the shop to get the clear bra installed.

Definitely the 3M Bra. Expensive but definitely worth it if you have the clams. I wanted to have one put on my car after a neighbor and I painted it, but decided since it would cost almost as much as the whole paint job cost me that I'll just repaint the front clip in a few years if it needs it.
