Rear blackout decal - matte or gloss?
A while back I saw another yellow Camaro & it had a blackout decal on the trunk lid. I think it was gloss, but I can't remember.
I want to get one, but I'm not sure if I should get matte to match the rally stripes, or get gloss. I'm leaning towards the gloss, but I don't want it to look out of place with the stripes. Any suggestions or pics? |

Go with the gloss!!! You can use turtle wax ice and it will shine up you're stock strips to match up!!!

personally i prefer the matte look over gloss, but its really your decision
my suggestion would be to go with the one that will match your stripes best

Guys, somehow when I was brushing the lint and dust off my car I received what looks like scratches on my stripes. Is there anyway to get these off or do I have to buy a new hood stripe?

I was looking at the Stillen splitter thread & really liked the look of the front blackout (beneath the headlights) too, so I may get that also. I'm definitely getting gill decals. I think the gills may look more realistic as gloss & I'd probably prefer the front blackout to be gloss too, so I'll probably go with gloss for the taillight blackout.
From gocougs' post, can black be waxed to to a gloss or semi-gloss? |
