ZL1 Front Facia on a 2SS
I was wondering what the feasibility of putting a ZL1 front facia on a 2SS including the DRL/Fog light combo? I can't get over how cool it looks and I don't have the $$$ to get a real ZL1 at this point in time.

i asked the asme thing when they had the online chat today and the answer i got was no....they said the hood and front bumper will not fit a 2010-2011

I have a feeling it will but even if it don't i am sure there will be some ebay aftermarket sources that will have knock off versions

ZL1 front fascia will not be interchangable with current SS!
Well according to the Chevy Camaro chat from this afternoon, the new ZL1 front fascia/splitter/hood will not be interchangeable with the current SS.
Al Oppenheiser: One third of the ZL1 was redesigned from the SS it was based from. The front fascia/splitter/Hood are not interchangeable with the current SS. So other than the fact the ZL1 front does not feature the Jay Leno/TF3 front's vertical, rectangular fog light/LED, it may not even fit the LS LT and SS Camaros. Time for some aftermarket company to make the REAL Jay Leno/T3 front and hood! |

i think every thing can be done to the exterior even if gm says it well not fit
it still with the same fenders as we have so i bet that there is some parts needed to make it fit to our ss & v6 like some of v6 guys changing to the ss front fascia i think it's easy jop to make it done |

Haha they lied! I just checked the exterior dimensions on the ZL1 and for the 2010 SS and width, length, hight and wheelbase are the exact same! So fitment shouldn't be an issue.

LOL I just started a thread asking if you guys would call me a poser if I did it. They may have changed the way it attaches. Someone mentioned maybe because of the weight reduction measures?
I think it might have to do with the inner cooler placement maybe?

Gm will say that it is not interchangable if 1 bolt does not line up. I will bet it will fit but might take a new hole drilled or bracked fabbed to make it work. They are saying it is not a direct bolt on.
