Factory hurst shifter. seems easier to win the lottery than to get some answers
So after talking with Hurst direct today, all they can sell me is the aftermarket billet plus/2 shifter which has the 44% reduction. No go. I want the GM version with the 22% reduction. They cannot sell me one. I asked if the billet/plus 2 could be modded to have less of a reduction. No to that too.
GM wants over $800 for the shifter.... nice. Its $380 to order when being built. to bad I have a 2010 and you discontinued it then.... argh cant win |

Hurst cannot sell you the factory O.E. GM shifter because of the contractual rights GM has on it.

the 44% reduction is way to much for my preference. if I were going to have it on the track all the time, then maybe. but for everyday driving its way to much of a reduction. The factory 22% is by far more in my preference.
the aftermarket is like dinking a shifter on some 1980's video game..... just my $.02 I need more feel than that. Im sure its great on the track... |

Give it sometime. Some GM vendors will have much better pricing. I'm looking to do the same thing, although I've had several dealers tell me they cannot even get them yet.

Have you considered an MGW shifter? I think they are around 33% reduction and I've read nothing but praise from those who have them installed! They're priced around $400 or so depending on knob.

only took a week and a half to get mine ordered in.
Was thrown in as part of my sale but i saw on some of the paperwork where they valued it at $400. I could check and see if they would order another one for me at that price?

When their costs is 500, I doubt they'll sell another one at 400 unless it includes another vehicle sale.
