Lightbulb Is this a resonated x pipe?

Ever since I cut off my resonators the exhaust has gotten to raspy for my liking. I cant find a resonated x pipe on muffler sites but when I search for it this pipe that always comes up. Even another member got one and said its this part number. the website doesnt call it a resonated xpipe though. So is this what I need to cut out my stock H pipe and put in its place?

Yes, that is the "Magnaflow" resonated X-pipe.

But get it through this site, via JDP Motorsports, it is much cheaper (You'll save around $70.00):

Here's a link to JDP Motorsports on this forum:

I have one on my 2010.

Yes, it's a muffler, but it has an X-pipe inside.....

"Tru-X Perforated Dual Core; Dual Inlet-Dual Outlet"

I looked down inside the the core, via the two tubes, prior to installing it.

So I guess my question is the same as the OPs- this replaces the factory H-pipe?

I removed the large rectangular resonator (on my L99) and replaced it with the 11386, behind that is an axle back Magnaflow system.

Here's a pic:

Having had a 71 RS with a 383 stroker and a true dual exhaust with X-pipe, I didn't want to have to resort to wearing my shooting range ear protectors while driving my 2010, so that's why I went to an axle back with the resonated X-pipe, which is essentially a cat back system, but cheaper.

Look like the piece included on their 16579 Street Series Cat-back kit
