That amongst other reasons is why I went with cloth seats.

yea unfortunately they used the really cheap quality leather for that car, and the thing is when I took my car to the dealer and told them about it, they said It's not BMW or anything else! it's american car! and in my opinion GM's not spending more money for better quality!!!

Most dealerships use a leather repair company to refurbish their used cars. The one we use could easily make that look almost new.

Check around in the phonebook or call a few high end dealerships and they should be able to hook you up with someone really good.

I am sure it can be fixed.

It looks like you might have had something like a pen or button in your pocket to create that.

Yes, the leather is not that good of quality. But, 99% of the people would not pay the money for much better leather.

A good interior shop should be able to replace just the damaged panel. Make some calls and take it to a few places for estimates.

I had a side bolster panel replaced on my 95 Z about 10 years ago for just around $100 U.S.

Looks to me that the damage was caused by something in your passenger's back pocket. Perhaps a set of kets???
Leather (or even faux-leather like GM's Polyurethane Vinyl) will not just tear like that from normal wear.

I listened on an interview that the difference in amount in interior quality per car between a Camaro and a Lamborghini was somewhere between $150-$200 dollars or something like, but after 127,000 units made in year will add up.
