Catch can install and error code

I installed my catch can finally after lots of pain. Im car noob and I got an engine check light after the install. I looked it up on my sct tuner and this is what it said:

Manifold absolute pressure sensor circuit low.

can someone please tell me what that means and whether I should be concerned or not.

Thanks yall!

What catch can and do you have the inlet and outlet lines on correctly or reversed? Also check any of the electrical connections where you were working. The only one that comes to mine is the one right above where the oulet hose connects to the intake. High up, to the left and behind the throttle body. Mine is the LS3 so the rest I'm not sure about.

Its the one from elite engineering. I checked all the connections according to the 10 page instructions they have for the L99. Everything looks where its supposed to be.

Post up some pics of the connections. Check all of the electrical connectors in the area. Maybe we can see if you missed something.

Is this the code? http://www.obd-codes.com/p0107

Nate,

This is a new one for me. I have not heard of anything like this before. As others have said, check your connections, and also post up some pics if possible.

Here are some pics i just took. blue goes to the intake, red is to the pcv system.

I was able to clear the code with my sct tuner, but i just want to make sure if there is anything i need to do or worry about.

Thanks for the help!

Check the connector for the MAP sensor. The sensor is on the top of intake manifold directly behind the throttle body on the passenger side. It's held down with a bolt and has a three wire connector. Since it's right above where you were working with the hoses, you may have tugged on it.

This does point to the MAP and wiring harness. Your install looks good so I'm guessing either the connector is loose on the MAP or the wiring in the connector isn't soldered properly to the terminals. Also, if you removed the wiring harness from the MAP (I know I do when I work on mine), remove it again and check to see if any of the pins are bent.

Your install looks correct so I have to agree, check the MAP connector. If it does not come back on your good though.

I think that was it. One of those plugs looked a little loose so i pulled it out and plugged it back in. In fact i checked all of em around that area just in case and plugged em back in. I have had no problems getting the car started nor have i had problems with her while driving.

Thanks a bunch for the help everyone!! and thank goodness for these forums!
