Exclamation Replace Incandescent Brake Light Bulbs LED Bulbs

Has anybody used replacement LED brake light bulbs? I'm not talking about the full LED brake lights that do tricks, just removing the 3157 size incandescent bulbs out and replacing them with LEDs.

I would like to do this but I have had bad luck doing this in my other 2 cars. I had the LED's go out after only a few months. Anybody had any luck with this?

I've heard of a lot of people doing this.

I took mine out and replaced them with 3157 LEDs (45 LEDs or something). If you do this you need to wire in resistors though, otherwise your DIC will tell you the bulb is out and your turn signal will hyper flash.

I've read a lot of threads on here about this.

You will most definitely need load resistors for each light bulb taken out.

Well, I guess I'll scratch that idea. I don't really want to hack into my wiring harness. Thanks for the info though!
