EU Spec Camaro

Going to see it tomorrow at the Geneva Motor Show, but after seeing a video of it, clearly showing the Dumbo mirrors and foo-bars, I mean taillights, just a few thoughts...

- Nice as it is, the idea of incorporating the side repeaters in the mirrors: couldn't they just have been made into the original casing? Or leave the mirrors alone and replace the (what I suppose now are) side reflectors with an indicator. They simply ruin the car's lines.

- Taillights: my god !!! someone should stop drinking when designing car stuff, really !! What is wrong with the current looks, and why, if only for EU legislation, is it so hard to incorporate LED's into the existing housing without touching the rear of the car? To me, and I believe to most European car lovers, the words "butt ugly" just got a new meaning...

There, I said it, rant mode off.

I like the tail lights. If we didnt have to change the rear bumper cover it might have been worth going to these.

The EU REQUIRES LED tail lights now? REALLY???? That's weird as heck. So the BMW tail lights are LED too?

I think the lines are super cool. LED dots are not, however.
