Guess Where I am at??? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

First of all finding a good performance shop in the Nashville,TN area is really tough. I have had a couple different places to work on my vehicle and 1 of them did ok and the dealer in my area that builds STS tubro charged Camaro's really messed up. I just had the dealer install an LPE dual pump system, BMR Bushings, JRE updated fuel rail, JRE updated rear-end, Dynamics injectors, etc. Long story short they overfilled my diifferential and caused the seals to start leaking, gas guage reads incorrect and there is also some additional problems noises that I am hearing after they worked on it. I took it back to the dealer and even had Ted Jannetty speak with the dealer, but nothing was resolved.

That brings me back to where I am at today....

After dealer with incompetent shops in my area that drove me with reaching Ted late yesterday evening and I mentioned to Ted that I would like to drive up and have them correct the work that has been done on my car. Ted's exact words to me were come on and we will get right on it. I left yesterday around 7:30 p.m. cst and drove all night until I got to Jannetty's location around 11:30 ET this morning. As soon as I arrived at Jannetty's shop they weclomed me as I was the most important customer they had and they immediately started working on my car. Ted also gave me a tour of the shop.

As soon as things get diagnosed and completed I will post an update.

I know that's right. A good performance shop in TN is pretty much non-existant and I see that LA may have a similiar situation as well.

It was a long trip to get here, but if all goes well that it will be worth th drive.

Thanks... I truly believe so myself or I would have not driven a 1000 miles to get here. Man what things we will do for our rides. LOL

I have a strong feeling that whatever Ted is doing for you on the car that it will result in a really FUN drive home!

Ted and his crew pretty much wrapped up all the work today less the alignment and I will have them do that prior to going home tomorrow. I went ahead and drove the vehicle around this evening and put about 70 miles on it to make sure that all of the problems created by my local dealer was cleared up. The vehicle drove great and all of the problems caused by the dealer appear to be corrected at this time. Before leaving tomorrow I going to have Ted and his crew give the vehicle on last look over to make sure they do not see anything else.

Now after i get home the dealer and I are going to have a sit down talk as to what they will be reimbursing me for the work I paid them for that was not properly done. if the Service manager does not pony up then I will go directly to the owner to get this resolved.

Will post as to how the drive home goes and dealer visit after I get back.
