JBA Axle Back Installation Question - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I've purchased a set of JBA 40-3112 axle back exhaust after listening to a bunch of different axle back exhaust systems. In the installation instructions it states "Using a reciprocating saw, cut the factory exhaust assembly in line with the the rear differential housing as seen here". (a small black and white photo) I'm a bit nervous about cutting them evenly.

My questions are:
1. Has anyone installed this exhaust assembly?
2. How did you accurately determine where to cut the factory pipe on both sides?

I installed the the slp loud mouth 2 system, and cut them with a sawzaw you can locate something to measure off of to make sure get them both cut in the same place.

Is far as being worried about cutting them at a slightly different angle, I wouldn't be concerned, because if one is off a little from the other, the clamp allows you some adjustment, is far as getting your tips in the same location exiting the rear valence.
