I have been thinking, if there is going to be no ABL in the first-run production cars (which, or course, is not confirmed), then what will be put in place of the ABL pieces? Will it just be plain grey/black plastic panels?

I don't think anyone can say for sure at this point. However, I don't see why any different panels would be put in place than the ones that would come even if you had the ABL. It's not the panel that lights up, but the light pipe that runs behind it. This would also make it easier for a retro-fit later.

Interesting question, but an even more interesting one would be, if there is no ABL, will the overall price of the car drop a little? The pricing was announced months ago, and I have to asume that this was part of it. If it's not there, will this affect the price for the cars that don't have it?

you sure that's enough? You're paying what, $600 for a damn spoiler and $400 for some colored stripes. $100 for interior lighting? I don't know, sounds wrong.

It will be replaced by a lighted disco ball hanging from the top. Almost the same.
