GREASE ON INSIDE REAR WHEEL!!!!

So I go to wash my car yesterday and I go to clean my passenger rear wheel and run the mitt on the inside of the rim and find that it is coated in GREASE!!!! Any idea where this GREASE came from? I just brought the car in last week to install my PFADT lowering springs, do you think they broke something? Had to clean the entire rim with gas!!!! Any ideas would be a great help!!!!

check the boot on the axle, it is either cut or the knuckle is bad.

That boot didn't fail by itself. The Idiot who installed your springs damaged it.

The last time this happened to me, the mechanic melted the boot on my front wheel drive car with a torch while attacking a stubborn bolt.

Damn really? How do you think he ruined it? I guess I have to call them and tell them that they messed up my axle boot? How much do these usually run to repair?
