MSD BAP Wiring Question - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I'm putting in a MSD (pn 2351) in my 10 Camaro. I've searched a few threads and it seems there are different ways of doing it. Does it splice into the fuse block in the trunk (r/w wire 4th down on the right) or does it splice into the FPCM (located on the passenger side rear seat wall I believe). Any help from those who have one would be appreciated!

GTC, i am part way through my installation, but it can be spliced in at both locations. Its the same wire, your just splicing at a different spot. Splicing in by the fusebox is less work as you do not have to remove much plastic trim. Splicing in near the FPCM removes some of that small awg wire going to the fusebox, and MAY possibly give you the most current possible going to your fuel pump.

Also if you splice in by the FPCM and mount your MSD under the backseat, the vacuum line run will be shorter than going all the way to the trunk.

I chose to go with the trunk.
