4th gen hood question

I know this is mainly 5th gen posting but i was lookin for some advice...Looking into gettin a new SS hood to replace the crappy fiberglass thats on there now.....Wondering if anyone had anyluck with truefiber hoods or the Duraflex hoods...How are they with the fit specs and the smoohness of the hood overall.....Id love to get my hands on a OEM but not willing to fork out the $1000 on one so Im trying to find a good quality fiberglass

Any Ideas Guys????

I had a 4th gen trans am. The problem with most smaller aftermarket hoods is an inconsistent experience. 2 or 3 people will say great fit and then 2-3 will say horrible. Also keep in mind crash safety. An OEM or SLP hood won't become a safety issue.

My suggestion is to also check out SLP for an aftermarket.

Dont have a Camaro but I have a TruFiber hood on my bird. Fit was real good, no body work needed other than scuff and paint and its been on for about 4 years now.
