So finally got my Qtp exhaust system and might I say holy crap that thing is loud. trying to make which i will put up soon. There is one question I wanted to ask if anyone who has installed cutouts specially QTP's, if they hear any rattle while driving? But while on idle its perfect.

I have summit cut outs but its all basically the same stuff. I heard some rattle when driving so I jacked her up and sprayed some smoke around the welds. Low and behold there was a leak from a bad weld. Next chance I get Ill go make them re weld that section. Check yours for leaks.

Also with electric cut outs Ive had rattles from the actual butter fly valve (the part that moves). Idk about QTP but with Summit you can tighten the valves. The rattling you are hearing could also be the valve not tight enough and its tapping against the metal housing.

Hey hows it goin...yea it takes about 3-3.5 hours to install and man the sound is awesome. Its deep and crazy loud. I love the sound on idle but im have a rattle while driving so i have to get that fixed but other than that i love it.

THanks im gona take it to the shop and have them look at it to make sure everything is ok.

A SS video doesn't help the V6 guys.....

To the OP please put up a sound clip of your setup. I have found 3 videos on youtube of V6 cutouts, all poorly done and you can barely get any idea of how the setup sounds.

Ill upload a video of mine either today or tomorrow! They are EXTREMELY loud on an all stock exhaust system.
