Just thought I would throw this out there to judge interest. We have attended it the last couple years and is was a good time. This year we are thinking about entering our Camaro in it.

To Benefit The Orpheum Theatre

1 to 5 p.m.

Free to the public

The Orpheum Theatre and Mel Hambelton Ford are pleased to present the 4th Annual Orpheum Car Show on Sunday, May 1, 2011 from 1 to 5 p.m.

The Orpheum Car Show will be held outside of the Orpheum Theatre at the corner of Broadway and First Streets. The streets will be blocked off to make way for hundreds of classic, vintage and collectible cars along with music, food, drinks and plenty of fun! As always, the Orpheum Car Show is free to the public and free tours of the Orpheum Theatre will be available.

Anyone that would like to show their car can register before the event online at www.wichitaorpheum.com or at the day of the event. Registration is $20 per car.

"Our car show is a unique and fun event for everyone in Wichita. It's a wonderful opportunity to celebrate classic cars and Wichita's only historic theatre," said Jennifer Wright, interim president.

All proceeds from sponsorships and car registrations benefit the ongoing restoration of the historic, 1922 Orpheum Theatre.
