Can somone update whats going on with the V6?
i ordered a LT2 and i am #3 in line and #1 For a Lt2 please someone give me an update on whats going on with the V6's if you know anything.

Nothing is wrong. The two people in front of you have ordered V8's. Your car may even get there before the second V8!

but there has been no new news on the constraints on the V6's i guess im starting to get frustrated hearing everyone become a 3400 and im still at 1100

I talked to a very reputable source. He said that v6's were constrained for 4 weeks. That was back in february and that should be all good and ready to go by launch time later this month. There are v8's going to 3400 one because there are alot of v8's to be made and alot more of those ordered so thats why you are hearing about more v8's changing status be patient you will get your car soon.

The other thing to is that GM is pumping out a V6 for every dealer first so that they have something on the lot for people to test drive. That will not take very long to build them out compared to how many V8's are on order. I don't expect to get my SS until the fall so you have it good!

That is not true about Dealers getting a V-6 first for test drives. Dealers can not even order stock orders right now, just sold only. What’s happening is your vehicle or some of your options are on constraints. As of right now up to date constraints are: LS, LT, LT2, Hurst Shifter & Cyber Gray Paint. If your order contains any of these options your order will not be pulled.

i just got off the phone to my dealer, He says that they EXPECT the V6 orders to start being pulled in around 7 to 10 days.... around the time that production begins. he also sad they are now getting 3 cars that are not dealer selectable ( they just get what GM sends them) , something to do with their sales for the last few months... so origonally they were only getting 13 cars but now they will be getting 16.
Since my car was the first V6. as soon as the constraint is lifted Mine should be going in...

After reading what you posted I did not see the last IDL and now that I think of it that happened with the Malibu Hybrids. We hade no orders showen being shipped to us then bam one just showed up. We had no choice of color or options.
