White paint job ?

I am legitimately contemplating painting my black 2011 camaro white. After detailing the he'll out of it today and still having little scratches and swirls and blemishes all over the car, not to mention all the flaws that came from GMs Crapy quality paint. Don't get me wrong I love the black car when it's clean, but being a daily driver it never is.. And im only about $1200 from owning the car out right with the mods I've done I think id be better off painting it white than trading it I'n for a white one and taking the loss. My plan now would be to paint the car summit white (or some mettalic whit I figure if I'ma have it repainted I may as well make it coustom ). And leave the roof black and have them tape off the existing gloss black on the hood to end up with painted on black stripes with my gloss black forge star F14s. So anyone have any idea what I'm looking to pay for somthing like this ? Am I better off just forgetting about it ? And what will it do to the resale as the vin# declares it a jet black ss.?

3000-4000$ just outside. Under hood and in the doors and trunk 5000-6000$+ Is what my shop told me on my last camaro I had, just depends on who you take it to and if you want them to take all the paint off I have been told the paints not real easy to remove. you could do a two tone and leave the hood and doors alone,

As far as resale It depends on the dealer if they look at the vin# I had a car I took to one dealer they looked up my trade in and they low balled me cuz it had a 5k insurance clame on it, took it to the next city over and they never looked it up and gave me what I wanted, On a private sale yes it would devalue the car to a collector but most ppl dont care as long as it looks good and has a clean title

Go for a cool pearl white! I have been dying to see a Camaro in that color.

i paint for a living.. you want it done right.. take everything apart, take the rear quarter windows out, paint the jams, trunk, pull the motor out to paint under there.. etc.. your looking at around $6,000 or maybe more.. if you have the money and the car is almost paid then go for it.. pick a sick looking light color, something mixed that no one else has.. or.. sell the car after its paid and start over new..

You should do a flat white vinyl wrap

That's a good idea, then you can take it off if needed
