I've seen a few black powder/satin coat paint jobs, pictures and video only ... I saw one BMW, it looked amazing. Anybody have a black powder/satin coat camaro yet?

Furthermore, what's the deal with that kind of paint job? How does it hold up? It's got a different finish so how does the clear coat work? If painted in a black powder/satin finish is car care (wax/wash/maintenence) the same?

Is there anything pertinant to know about a black powder/satin paint job? Can I do it and if I did would it be a bad idea?

I think it would look good. Harley uses satin/flat paint a lot and it looks great!

wow... How long would it take to wrap a Camaro? I hope they were careful when cutting the wrap around the body. I'd like to see some 'clearer' pics before I did anything like that to mine.

Hmm you guys seriously like that? Looks like primer. That's definitely not for me.

yeah i like it, it's hot ... I've seen even sharper versions of the matte/satin/powder finish on other cars ... so where can i get this done, i'm in long island NY?

Also, that's a wrap not paint? nooo? really?
