saved window stickers

I am putting all these stickers in this envelope and placing it under the flooring in the trunk.
I have them cause I told the dealer I wanted the car as is off the float.

I couldn't bring myself to throw them out so I hope someone else may appreciate them years from now.

Would you appreciate finding these in a 10 to 15 year old car you just purchased?

ps. love my vert.

When my dad and I bought our 77 vette (project car) she had all of her window stickers, manual, etc. It was really cool to be able to look through it some 30 years later.

I think it's cool, on my 69 gmc I've got all the paper work from when my great grandfather bought it new.

I always keep the window sticker and it's nice to have the brochure for that year. Amazing though that the people I sold my 94 Z28 and 2001 SS were like....... yeah, I'll take them I guess.

I did the same thing thinking it would help the dealer re-sale my last car. They told me they gonna shred it. I don't understand why it was top of the line for that model.

If I was buying a used car I would appreciate having it.

I like you're idea.

I have my window sticker, but mine did not have the build sheets when it arrived at the dealer. Instead I have a sheet of paper for "Camaro Convertible Batch And Hold Campaign Numbers" and several hang tags. My car was built on 2/9/11 and delivered to the dealer on 3/28/11

A cool thing to have to look back on. Does help resale if you have a rare model. i don't know about keeping them in trunk though, water or condensation can occur in the trunk and may ruin/yellow the papers. I'd put them in your home or somewhere safe.

I kept mine as well. Figure the grandkids will someday look back and have a chuckle at the 'archaic' technology from the 'old' days...

My dads 73 has the window sticker and build sheet. Also has all the original maintenance records. I know for fact it increases the value of older cars, but im not sure about the newer cars.

I had mine elaminated, but I plan on keeping my car till my kid(s) send me away to the nut house in about 25 years. I kept the window stickers to the last 3 new trucks I bought for some reason.....*See nut house comment above to answer that.
