Heads and Cam installed in A6

Just got my 2011 SS back from East Coast Supercharging . I decided to go the N/A route and I couldnt be happier with the result. The mods are as follows

L99 to LS3 conversion including vvt delete and dod delete
Tsp 229/236 cam
Tsp ported heads with .675 springs and LS3 valves
Mellings high volume oil pump
Manley hardened pushrods
Fast 102 intake
Vmax ported throttle body
slp underdrive pulley
circle d 3200 stall converter
B+M trans cooler

Before the heads and cam
Cold Air Inductions air intake
Kooks complete exhaust system 6511 including 1 7/8 headers

The car put down 376 rwhp and 395 rwtq with the cold air full exhaust and tune.

After the heads and cam it put down 489 rwhp and 448 rwtq! I realize these numbers are high but the car runs like a monster now.

The car drives great for having such a large cam thank to Doug from ECS, who really tuned the car perfect. The car has no stalling and besides the rockin and rollin at idle the car runs like theres not even a cam in it( until you step on it of course). The converter is very tight and almost unnoticeable until you jump on the throttle, which was one of my concerns to keep the driveability of the car as good as possible. I will post video of the dyno pulls as soon as i unload them within the next couple days.

Big thanks to ECS for installing everything and tuning the car perfectly
TSP for the cam and heads and circle d for the torque converter.

Great to hear, I cannot wait to have my cam thrown into my LS3. I am back and forth on which cam to get but still looking at the 229/236 as my main option.

Sweet, just about to have same set up... Well complete my Heads/Cam combo, with all TSP stuff and cam. But mine is a M6, and will have NW 102 TB, and Fast intake, ie full bolt on car.

If you are worried about driveability with this cam dont be. It rocks at idle but other than that as smooth as can be. Even at 40-50 mph there is next to no surge

For the money the TSP parts are a great value. ECS is one of the best in the extreme N.E. period.
