Automatic V6 tap shifting.

Im not a manual guy at all, but tap shifting seems to be a huge improvement on the quality of the car. Does anyone tap shift their V6 on the regular?

Im not really good at it, downshifting is tricky. Also seems to down shift on its own. I need some shifting lessons.

Also since v6 has a Manual option, whats the difference between an actual Manual v6 and the auto-tap shift?

NEVER complete waste of time IMO unless you have an exhaust and you just want the rpms higher.

UM clutch and a stick shift thingy where you manually put the transmission into gear.

IMO with the stock tune on the trans, tap shifting seems rather flat and unimpressive.

I use mine sometimes...especially in the hill country.
Tap shifting can be quite useful, but it takes time to become proficient. A lot of people don't understand it, or are just plain afraid of it.
Of course, it's the only way to select a gear manually if you have an auto...and there are quite a few times when you might need to do that.
