Believe me I racked up a few credit cards which I regret doing now Their is days where I regret not keeping my 08 G6 GXP Coupe where I couldn't find any mods for it and I stayed debt free

Yeah, good luck with that! Welcome to MA (Modders' Anon) you can't stop, you can only hope to somewhat control the addiction by the dosing of its medication!

It doesn't stop. I can think of at least $8000 in mods I would like to do right now. Unfortunately, my bank account cannot comprehend that number.

I won't buy a mod unless I actually have the cash for it. It gets expensive even that way, but at least they are already paid for so I don't have to worry about it down the road.

It ends when you sell/trade the car...

Then, it starts all over again.

Exactly. If its not a pile of loose change that doesnt go into my budget it goes towards mods. Otherwise I dont buy anything cept gas... which still kills the plastic

The one thing that sucks, if you ever sell your car you won't get the money back that you put into it.

I'm going to keep mine forever

1700 right now, soon to be 2300, and if things fall ok it might be 2800 by the middle of summer. then it will grow to 3100 in the spring. does detailing kits count? if they do then tack on another 500! at some point it stops but have not figured out when. now I think about it make it 3200 in the spring....ugh I'm down with the sickness! then there's slotted rotors and ceramic pads, painted stripes....some one help me :o(

My wife asked me when will I stop buying mods for the car, and I told her when I die. She then told me that can be arranged.

I told her I wanted to put a blower on her Mirage and I got the evil eye for that one.

It doesn't end, but saving for the mod and paying for it in cash will help, which is what I do, sometimes.
