Wife got pulled over today!

I got my headers put on Tuesday and I drove it home Wednesday. Today is the first time my wife drives it and she gets about 3 miles from home and calls me. She tells me she got pulled over by the state patrol. My first thought was because of loud mufflers, which would make me real mad because even with headers my car is not loud. She then tells me she got stopped for not having a front license plate on, and I have to take the Camaro license plate holder off the back because they can't see the plate well enough. We have had the car for almost a year and dozens of cops have given me thumbs up,, It just goes to show there is always one pr**k out there to ruin everything.

State Troopers lol They are to the letter here. I have been pulled over countless times, for the same reason. I dont mean to talk bad about them, just from my own personal experiences with WI troopers. I bet anything that if it were YOU driving ... he would heve kept driving.

Oh yeah, dont put that front plate on. We only need them if there is a mount from the factory.

My brother has one of those flip up front plates on his Synergy green Camaro, but he keeps it up now most of the time so he don't get pulled over.

I have to check the illumination on my rear plate because the laser jammer (Legal in Md) for the rear plate is mounted right above it.

I won't give the man any reason to pull me over- except maybe for "Slightly Speeding!!"

Doesn't mean you HAVE to change it. I play the odds game that I'll get that dick head with, we'll call it short man syndrome. I got a $122 fine for smoked tail lights. Officer said they reduce the reflectiveness of the lights (they're barely smoked). Eat it. They're staying on. Pay the ticket and drive on with the car the way you like it.

There is no question that cops target Camaro's or fast cars in general. I've been pulled over 3 times for no front plate this year alone. My wife and my daughter have never had front plates on their vehicles and neither one has ever been stopped.

This year I was pulled over twice by local police and once by the Ohio Highway Patrol. The Highway Patrol gave me a written warning and told me if I was caught again it would be a $140 fine.

I finally just decided it wasn't worth the hassle so I used zip ties to attach the front plate. It's not worth the aggravation having to worry about getting pulled over every time you see a police car. Just put it on an forget about it, it's likely the car will get pulled over again and again.

We have the same law in Nevada so I keep a copy of the NRS to show said officer and remind him it did'nt come with front plate holder so this rule doesn't apply to THIS car. This is what it says in black and white

I was pulled over years ago for not having a front plate, so I made sure the dealer put it on for me, 'the look' is NOT worth the hassle of getting pulled over or a ticket. When I was stopped I got a fix-it ticket....I had 5 days to get the plate on there and go to the cop station and show them it was on.

So you are saying that the car was pulled over because the driver was female??
