Need advice on rear bumper cover removal.
Yes, I've removed all the screws directly behind the wheels and even the plastic push pins on the taillights. However, the damn thing will not budge when I pull out on the sides (pull out towards me to release the clips). My main concern is breaking a clip or snap, so I therefore decided to ask you guys for help before I go any further.
So can someone please recommend a removal method or give me some sort of advice? Any and all input is much appreciated, thanks. Danny. |

I'm more than willing to try that if you're willing to pay for another bumper cover.

Are you sure you got all the screws, there is 1 bolt 7mm I think, goes straight up right near rear side marker lights. When all the screws are out you can wiggle the side bumper cover outward away from car a little. Once both sides are popped away from car you can lift upwards and away from the center trunk area. BE careful and don't let the sides scratch as you pull away from car. Al little tug at the tail lights should pop it away from car. Don't forget to disconnect tail lights before removing cover...
