Was is the classic or the movie that made you buy your car?

are you a Transformer or Lane Meyer?

I'm 1967/68 guy myself! "I want my two dollars!"

Heh, total classic, I love that movie.

My decision to purchase really wasn't anything other than the car itself. It being in transformers didn't affect my decision to go ahead with it.

I travel for work, and I noticed one of the local guys driving a little Honda S2000. We were out at lunch and we got to talking about cars when he said, "Yeah, it took me forever to convince my wife to let me buy it."

By the end of the day I had placed my order for my 2SS/RS. No need to wait until I had to convince anyone other than myself!

I wanted a first gen from when I was a kid, still do actually. But living in a city with no room to do the work on it, I "settled" for a 5th gen. Love my car but will hopefully have a '69 to park next to it one day

I love Camaros period so no movie made me get my car. My first car was an '81 Z28. I did like the Camaro in Better off Dead though like mentioned above.

For me it was my wife! I was going back and forth between the Mustang, Challenger etc. as I was looking for a muscle car. Test drove them all. My wife said "if you're going to get one, it better be one that I like too and not to sway your decision, but the Camaro is sexy and masculine all in one" SOLD!!

The movie sealed the deal for me. Before that I was planning on getting a Challenger or BMW 335ci or Audi A5. I may be a lifer now though. I love the car more than I thought possible! I saved a few bucks by buying the Camaro too!

Same here. I could only just stand there in awe when the concept car was unveiled.

To be honest here it was transformers that got me into the camaro. I thought the 3ed and 4th gen were ugly SORRY . But i loved camaros ever sence i got into cars when i was 18. Just had no drive till i seen the 5th. Then it all changed 1est and 2ed gen is just porn to me all the classic cars PORN .

as i mentioned before if not for the camaro i would be in a mustang right now. The only other car that sparked my passion of true modern muscle. You got the dodge charger but i never was that big into that huge of a retro car. The charger is just too retro if i wanted something that retro i would by the orginal!

I was looking at investing in a 69 when I saw a poster of the then 2009 Camaro concept. I was buying my wife's 2007 Tahoe (this was early 06) when I saw it and I was in love. It was a no brainer to wait for the new Camaro instead. So to answer the question... Classic!

Better Off Dead, I will be playing "Mannish Boy" while driving off the lot. Love that scene.
