what to wrap LS door trim in ?

i want to change my interior door trim and dash trim with something red... the trim pieces are rough though because it is an LS... i think that means vinyl is out of the question... and i think painting would look weird... so what should i use?

You can peel off the black cloth and they are just plastic underneath, vinyl is very doable. A lot of members have wrapped theirs in vinyl.

What he said. just peel the cloth off. You will need to use goo gone or something to take off the glue. You can paint, vinyl wrap or wrap with leather.

The LS panels are not cloth; they are the same kind of plastic as the dashboard. Another LS owner wrapped the panels in vinyl that had padded backing. I planned on doing it, but haven't got around to it yet...

Yeah, they're just bland, gray colored pieces of plastic. I'm undecided what color I want to go with in mine...

Here's an idea for the panels:

if i were to go the vinyl route... should i just sand the textured part down so its more flat? the vinyl guy that does my stripes and graphics said bcus of the textured aspect, it would heat up in the florida sun and not look right or last...

Can you take a pic of the ls panels? Curious to see them. Also you can buy some panels out of a lt/ss. I bought a spare set cheap in the for sale section
